Christopher Weir is a storyteller at heart.
For more than twenty years, he’s made his living on stages of all kinds, first as an actor in theatre, film, and television in New York City and Los Angeles, later as an award-winning professional speaker and emcee, and always as a songwriter drawn to the power of a well told story. No matter the setting, the goal has stayed the same; connect with people through honest, engaging storytelling.
Christopher’s love for narrative songwriting began early, sparked by Johnny Cash’s “Don’t Take Your Guns to Town.” As a teenager, Jerry Jeff Walker’s “Navajo Rug” lit the fire that pushed him to pick up a guitar and begin writing lyric-driven songs of his own. That path eventually led him to Mountain View, Arkansas, where he found himself swapping songs with John Prine, Roger Cook, and Keith Sykes along the banks of the White River, a moment that helped define his approach to songwriting; story first, always.
In 2022, Christopher released his debut single, “The Winter That Daddy Died,” a deeply personal tribute to his father. The song marked the beginning of his recorded work and introduced listeners to a voice unafraid of tenderness, loss, and reflection. His first full-length studio album, Ten Feet Tall, followed in May 2024. A collection of songs gathered over two decades, the record explores relationships, complicated personalities, heartbreaks, and the quiet victories that often go unnoticed. The album earned national attention as the #3 Top Folk Add on the National Association of College and Community Radio Stations chart.
Whether performing solo, as a duo with his lead guitarist, or with a full band, Christopher brings the same intention to every show; songs that feel lived-in, stories that matter, and moments that linger long after the last note fades.
